Alhambra Granada – The Palace That Took My Breath Away

Last stop: Granada

We arrived in Granada town and almost confused as the roads having similar names. Turned out the apartment that we booked via <> as only nearby the main road after we entered the town. I wasnt expecting it to be very steep road, but we managed to pull over our luggage into the apartment.

Anyway, it was almost nearby to any nearby shop and Granada town. We took rest half of the day strolling the town because the next day gonna hectic day.

If there’s one place in Spain that completely knocked the air out of my lungs, it’s the Alhambra in Granada. This palace complex isn’t just beautiful—it’s unreal. The precision of the mosaics, the carvings on the walls, the courtyards that feel like a dream… I honestly had to remind myself to breathe.

Walking into the Nasrid Palaces, I felt like I’d stepped inside a jewelry box, only every “gem” was a mosaic tile perfectly aligned to the next. The detail is so sharp, so delicate, that you can’t help but wonder—did the craftsmen back then have magnifying glasses? And coffee? Because wow.

The gardens? Like a scene from a fairytale. Fountains, roses, orange trees, and views over Granada that make you want to set up camp and never leave. It’s no wonder the Alhambra is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Spain’s most visited monument.

By the end of the visit, my camera was full, my memory was overflowing, and my feet? Totally done (as we had to walk non-stop for nearly 4 hours). But every step inside the Alhambra was worth it. If Granada is the jewel of Andalusia, the Alhambra is its sparkling crown.
